[It should be noted, before I even begin to go into the fic itself, that this was a hard one to write. While I kind of knew, knowing Flack, that things probably weren’t going to last forever with him and Anna (to many things seemed to get in their way from the beginning—it just wasn’t meant for them to happen at that moment. At least that was the way he saw it), I did enjoy the couple, and playing off them in one of their many happier moments, but he knew that he couldn’t keep being in a relationship like this forever, so he knew what he had to do.
Anna!mun had given me this prompt a while back, and when she asked for it as a birthday fic—that was the headspace he was in at the time. I didn’t want to write break-up fic for her birthday (because really—how depressing is that), but that was the way he wanted it to go and—as a general rule, I don’t really tell Flack no. So there ya go.
It should also be noted that this was written before we RP’d the actual break-up, and we decided to use this for the actual recorded break-up piece, as oppose to the RP that we did—just to make things easier.]
