senseofliberty used with permission of her mun who made a request for Flack/Rachel. Stella isn’t binding on any other muse. Any OOCness of Rachel is completely my fault.]
“What, you've never been bored? Never had a long night? Never had a lot of cabinets to put up?”
It started with a comic book.
If he wanted to be completely honest, the only reason this started to begin with was because Flack was nosy. It was an innate thing with him. If he saw something that interested him, he was inclined to poke around a little more. It was one of the many reasons he’d become a detective, and just because he had an outlet at work didn’t mean that he was going to stop being nosy in his every day life. And technically he was still on the job. The woman was a potential witness and/or suspect, so technically that gave him a little more license to look around her place.
Well, not really considering his instincts had pretty much ruled her out completely, so he really was just being nosy. But he justified it in his head as that he was evaluating a suspect, which meant he definitely could go poking around on her desk where this comic happened to be sitting and have a general excuse when someone called him out on it.
Which Stella did.
