stillacrimeIt'd been a while since he and Danny had touched base. First there was everything that was going on with Rikki, and then the Phelps case and Anna, and now there was the whole mess with his family going on trial, so things hadn't exactly been conducive to a quick catch up. On top of that, Danny was stuck in the lab, so Flack hadn't really had the chance to talk with him in a while. He was also sure that both of them were probably overdue for a drink, so when he'd run into him at the lab earlier, it was the first thing he suggested.
He made his way into Sullivan's around nine, glancing around and looking for any sign of the other detective, before making his way to the bar and ordering a pint for himself, and starting to feel the tension of the day ease out of his shoulders. It had been a long past couple of weeks, and he was looking forward to the weight coming off his shoulders, at least for a little while, before the next tragedy happened and he was pushed to start worrying all over again.
He slid onto the bar stool and waited, letting his eyes wander around the room in search of any other familiar faces he should say hello to before the end of the night.
